You can ADD vdevs to a pool at any time. You CANNOT change the topology of an existing vdev. Plan ahead — or migrate via Recovery Point clone if you must.
New drives go into empty bays. SynetoOS auto-detects within seconds.
Storage → Pools → "Add vdev". Choose layout matching existing vdevs.
Capacity is available immediately. Recovery Points and existing data are untouched.
